SC Biomass Council Meeting Highlights from May 13th

Over 70 members and guests attended the meeting of the SCBC at the Lake House at Clemson Sandhills Research & Education Center in Columbia. The networking reception was hosted by Santee Cooper. Presentations from the meeting are listed below:

SCBC signs MOU with 25X'25 and SC Energy Office

25X'25 and the SC Biomass Council decided to formalize their relationship through a Memorandum of Understanding. The SC Biomass Council, the SC Energy Office, and the 25X'25 national coalition will enhance biomass-to-energy opportunities in South Carolina through coordinated efforts. SC Renewable Energy Grant Program

Attention all Renewable Energy Businesses!

If you represent a business that is interested in locating in South Carolina, you can take advantage of a new program offered by South Carolina agencies and stakeholders called the 'Renewable Energy One-Stop Shop'. Agency representatives and stakeholders will be available in one room, once a month, to inform the business about state incentives, permits, taxes, rail and port information, among other things and answer all of your questions.
